Cleo was born from a deeply personal observation: women are too often left to navigate some of life's most significant health transitions with far less support than they deserve. Growing up in a large, female-dominated family and surrounded by friends as they went through their own journeys to motherhood, Emily witnessed firsthand how fragmented and overwhelming it was to find trusted care beyond the OB-GYN or fertility specialist. With a background in neuroscience and years spent working closely with women throughout her career in the entertainment industry, she developed a deep curiosity about the intersection of health, systems, and women's wellbeing.
Living in London further expanded her perspective, exposing her to a different cultural approach to pregnancy and postpartum care and highlighting how much could be improved back home. Through countless conversations with doctors, practitioners, providers, and women at every stage of their health journey, one thing became clear: exceptional care already existed, it simply wasn't easy to find.
Driven by the belief that women deserve a more thoughtful, human-centered experience, she founded Cleo to make accessing trusted care feel simple, personal, and intuitive. Cleo is her vision for a future where every woman feels supported, understood, and empowered to navigate her health with confidence.
